Process Street is a great tool for documenting the workflows involved in your business operations. With this tool, you can create templates, run checklists and so much more.
I know, none of that sounds fun unless you're into that sort of thing (raising my hand). However, it's so necessary for the function of your business. Documenting your processes can become a part of your standard operating procedures. I talk more about standard operating procedures (SOPs) in this post.
Basically, it can become a way to write down what you do so that:
You can have a record of how you did something so that you can recreate it without having to struggle to remember the steps each time.
Those steps can be duplicated by anyone. Which is especially helpful when you are ready to start outsourcing work to other people.
You can analyze what is working and what is not working in your business operations and see where you may need to make adjustments.
Process Street makes documenting processes rather simple and can be used for a variety of businesses.
Here are some examples:
Document processes so that when you are ready to hire additional support, you will already have your “how-tos” and best practices ready to pass off.
Create a client onboarding checklist
Create a new hire checklist
Document your folder management system
Create surveys that can be completed by clients throughout the span of a project
Create feedback forms that can be completed by clients when a project is complete
Start transitioning your role from a virtual assistant to an operations manager by documenting processes for your clients so that they can implement them into their standard operating procedures.
Create folder management systems for your digital storage tool. Run a checklist every month to update your folders.
Create an outline template for blog posts and run a checklist for each new post that you create
Document your social media content creation processes and run a checklist for each post

Document website development processes and run checklists for each project
Document printable template elements and run checklists for each template
Document video editing processes and run checklists for each project
